Introduction

The present document describes and defines privacy and policy settings for PharmaLink.

1. PharmaLink

PharmaLink is a platform that allows e-learning services to be provided to healthcare professionals.

The content and information made available on this platform (including, without limitation, data, information, text, photographs, maps, icons, software, codes or other material), as well as the infrastructure used to provide such content and information, are the property of PharmaLink or their use is duly licensed.

You agree not to modify or otherwise copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, or transfer or sell or resell any information, software, products, or services obtained from or through this platform. In addition, you agree not to:

  • use this platform or its content for any commercial purpose;
  • access, monitor, or copy any content or information from this platform using any type of robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means or any manual process for any purpose, without the express written permission of PharmaLink;
  • frame, mirror, or otherwise incorporate any part of this platform into any other website/application without the prior written permission of PharmaLink;
  • attempt to modify, translate, adapt, edit, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any software program used by PharmaLink in connection with the platform or its services.

2. Access and Registration for Clients

In order to be a PharmaLink User, it is essential that the following requirements are met:

  • Be of legal age;
  • To truthfully fill in the mandatory fields of the registration form, in which personal data such as username, e-mail and telephone number are requested;
  • Accept these Terms of Use;
  • Accept the Privacy and Data Protection Policy;
  • Accept the Cookie Policy;

The User guarantees that all data about his identity is true, correct and complete, and undertakes to keep it up to date.

If the User informs any false, incorrect or incomplete data or if PharmaLink considers that there are well-founded reasons to doubt the veracity, accuracy and completeness of the same, PharmaLink may deny access to and present or future use of PharmaLink or any of its contents and/or services.

The User undertakes not to disclose the data relating to his account or make it accessible to third parties. The User will be solely responsible in the event of use of this data by third parties, including all acts carried out at PharmaLink or any other manifestation of will when using the username and/or password.

PharmaLink cannot guarantee the identity of registered Users, therefore, it will not be responsible for the misuse of a certain profile of a registered User by unregistered third parties. Users undertake to immediately inform PharmaLink of the removal, disclosure or loss of their username or password, through the Contact Form.

3. Opinion / Rating

Thank you for your feedback. Please be aware that by submitting content to this platform by email, postings on the platform, or otherwise, including any evaluations of questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, or similar forms contained in any submission (collectively, "Submissions"), you grant PharmaLink and its affiliates a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to:

This platform contains evaluation services or other forums in which the User can leave comments of experiences. The User will be solely responsible for their comments and evaluations, and they expressly agree not to use this platform to post, transmit or publish:

  • Any messages, data, information, text, music, sound, photographs, graphics, code, or any other material ("Content") that is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, inflammatory, threatening, in violation of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Content that could constitute, encourage, or provide instructions for a tort, violation of any party's rights, or that otherwise creates civil liability or violates any local, state, national, or international law;
  • Content that may infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights or proprietary rights of any party;

  • Unsolicited promotions, political campaigning, advertising, contests, sweepstakes, or solicitations;
  • Private information of third parties, including, without limitation, last name (family name), addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, social security number, and credit card numbers;
  • Viruses, corrupted data, or other harmful and destructive files;

PharmaLink assumes no responsibility for any Content posted, stored or uploaded by the User, or for loss or damage, nor is it responsible for any error, defamation, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography or rudeness that the User may identify.

As an interactive service provider, PharmaLink is not responsible for any statements, representations or Content provided by Users in any public forum, personal page or other Interactive Area. Although PharmaLink has no obligation to screen, edit or monitor any Content posted or distributed through its platform, PharmaLink reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to remove, analyze, translate or edit, without notice, any Content posted or stored on this platform at any time and for any reason, or to perform such actions through third parties on its behalf. You are solely responsible for creating backup copies and replacing any Content you post or store on this platform at your own expense and expense.

4. Obligations of the User

Users are fully responsible for the access and correct use of their profile and PharmaLink content in relation to these Terms of Use, current legislation, whether national or international, as long as applicable in the country from which the User accesses PHARMALINK, as well as the principles of good faith, morals, good customs and public order.

PharmaLink cannot be held editorially responsible, and expressly declares that it does not identify itself with any of the opinions that PHARMALINK Users may express, whose responsibility and consequences are their sole responsibility.

Anyone who does not comply with such obligations will be liable for any loss or damage that may be caused. PharmaLink will not be liable for any consequence, damage or loss that may arise from the illicit access or use by third parties.

In general, Users undertake, in particular but not limited to:

  • Not to alter or modify, in whole or in part, PHARMALINK, evading, deactivating or manipulating any function or service of the same.
  • Not to infringe industrial and intellectual property rights or regulatory standards for the protection of personal data;
  • Not to use PHARMALINK to insult, defame, intimidate, violate one's own image or harass other Users; - Do not log in to the email accounts or profiles of other Users;
  • Not to introduce computer viruses, defective files, or any other computer program that may cause damage or alteration to the contents of PHARMALINK's systems or third parties;
  • Not to send mass and/or repetitive e-mails to a plurality of people, nor to send e-mail addresses of third parties without their consent;

Not to carry out advertising of goods or services without the prior consent of PharmaLink.

Any User may report another User when he/she considers that he/she does not comply with these General Conditions of Use, and all Users may inform PharmaLink of any abuse or vulnerability of these conditions through the Contact Form. PharmaLink will verify this report as soon as possible and adopt the measures it deems appropriate, reserving the right to withdraw and/or suspend any User from PHARMALINK for non-compliance with these Terms of Use. PharmaLink also reserves the right to remove and/or suspend any message with illegal or offensive content, without the need for prior notice or subsequent notification.

6. Updating and Modification of the Platform

PharmaLink reserves the right to modify, at any time and without prior notice, these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy. Users should carefully read these Terms of Use when entering PHARMALINK In any case, the acceptance of the Terms of Use will be a prior and indispensable step to access the services and contents available through PHARMALINK.

The authorization to the User to access PHARMALINK does not imply the waiver, transfer, license or total or partial assignment of intellectual or industrial property rights by PharmaLink. It is not permitted to delete, circumvent or manipulate in any way the contents of PHARMALINK It is also strictly forbidden to modify, copy, reuse, exploit, reproduce, publicly communicate, make second or subsequent publications, upload files, send by e-mail, transmit, use, process or distribute in any way all or part of the contents included in PHARMALINK for public or commercial purposes, without the express written permission of PharmaLink or the rights holder.

The User who shares any type of content through PHARMALINK, guarantees that he has the necessary rights to do so, and PharmaLink is exempt from any responsibility for the content and legality of the information presented. The provision of content by Users through PHARMALINK will imply the assignment to PharmaLink, free of charge, and to the maximum extent permitted by current legislation, of the rights to exploit intellectual or industrial property derived from such content.

8. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

This platform is operated by a company incorporated and regulated in accordance with the laws of Angola and these Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Angola. In this way, the User agrees to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of Angola and guarantees the fairness and convenience of proceedings in such courts for all disputes arising out of or related to the use of this platform. You agree that all claims you may have against PharmaLink arising out of or relating to this platform must be heard and resolved by a competent court located in Angola. The use of this platform is not authorized in any jurisdiction in which these Terms of Use do not give effect to all of its provisions, including but not limited to this paragraph.

Privacy Policy

PharmaLink wants you to feel confident in using PharmaLink and is committed to protecting the information you collect. While no website can guarantee absolute security, we have implemented appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security procedures to help protect the personal information you provide to us. For example, only authorized employees are allowed to access personal information, and they can do so only to perform permitted business functions. In addition, we use encryption when transmitting your personal information between your system and the system used by PharmaLink, and that of the partners with whom we share confidential information; In addition, we use firewalls and intrusion detection systems to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your information. PharmaLink automatically collects some information from the User's computer or device when the User uses the PharmaLink Health platform. For example, PharmaLink will collect session data, including the User's IP address, operating system, and phone type. One of our actions at PharmaLink in collecting this information automatically is to try to understand the User's interests and preferences in order to personalize and improve the User's experience.
